Formant Filter
A VOWEL filter — three resonant peaks (F1, F2, F3) that SHAPE whatever passes through into a vocal-tract colour (a talkbox / vocoder filter). The formant-filtered signal DOMINATES the output (a parallel bandpass bank, F1 strongest) with just a touch of dry for body — so a harmonically RICH carrier (a saw / square osc) becomes the VOWEL itself, not the raw tone with faint resonances added. Dial F1/F2/F3 to MORPH between vowels (/a/ 730·1090·2440 → /i/ 270·2290·3010); Amount sets how strongly the formants drive. Best on a rich source (a sine has too few harmonics to shape). The FILTER half of the source-filter model — F1/F2/F3 are automatable, the targets the Formant analyser's live output (a talkbox) or a recorded formant track drives over time so the carrier 'speaks'.
