SING A MELODY → NOTES IN THE ROLL. A live Microphone feeds a Pitch node (YIN); its Pitch + Gate drive a synth voice so you HEAR yourself, and its NOTES output is wired into the Piano Roll's Rec input — so you SEE the mic → Pitch → Roll path, and the roll RECORDS the notes you sing. Drop it in, grant mic access, press the Piano Roll's ● Rec ONCE (it counts in then captures — it starts the Clock for you, so there's nothing else to press), and sing / hum — your notes appear in the roll, segmented + pitch-named (the multi-frame stabilizer keeps them steady). A Key node is wired into the Pitch node's Key input: leave it on chromatic to record exactly what you sing, or set its Key + Scale to SNAP off-notes into a key (and turn the Pitch node's Autotune on to bend the voice onto the scale). Press ● Rec again to stop + commit the take, then play it back (the roll drives the same voice); ⌫ Clear starts a fresh take, and ⤒ MIDI exports it as a .mid file. Use headphones to avoid feedback (the mic's Mute also kills it). A FUNCTIONAL preset (explicit nodes + connections), palette-only.
