Clip
A timeline CLIP (ARC1 clips & timeline) — a placed reference to (part of) a recording on an Arranger track, at a Start position in seconds. The sampler-family buffer voice: it plays its buffer (PCM JS-side, rule 2) trimmed to In..Out, shaped by a gain envelope, through any inserts, scheduled by the bound Clock at its Start. Created by dropping audio onto the timeline (add_clip); positioned by dragging (set_param start) and trimmed at the edges (clip_start/clip_end). Reuses the Sampler's editor + buffer/insert machinery; lives INSIDE a track (no free canvas card — describe_graph marks it internal).
