Drum Synth
A SYNTH drum machine — a playable kit (Kick / Snare / Hat) whose voices are synthesised by the kernel, not sampled. It is note-driven and POLYPHONIC, like the Instrument: wire a note source (a Step Sequencer, Keyboard, Piano Roll, or MIDI In) into its Notes input and each GM drum note triggers its voice (36 = Kick, 38 = Snare, 42 = Hat). Tune shifts the whole kit's pitch, Decay its length, Snap the attack bite. Drop the Drum Machine (Synth) rig for a pre-wired beat. The classic analog-drum recipes — a pitch-dropping sine kick, noise+tone snare, high-passed hat — rendered in Rust (the kernel owns the DSP).
