A COMPLETE, tonally-balanced premium RUMBLE — a full-spectrum low end, not just a sub. FOUR layers in balance (the Sonarworks/tonal-balance idea — a gentle high↔low tilt, no gaps, no mud): (1) the gated SUB — a synth KICK on a four-on-the-floor opens an ADSR on a 55 Hz oscillator, so it plays a note PER KICK (not a drone), swelling behind the transient and ringing through a feedback tail; (2) a MID-GROWL — the authentic distorted-bass rumble: the sub is hard-SATURATED to spawn harmonics, band-passed to a broad low-mid grind (~520 Hz, where the harmonics are strong), glued through a limiter, gated + ducked so it growls and PUMPS with the kick (the mid body/movement a pure sub lacks); (3) an ATMOSPHERE — pink NOISE → a REVERB → spectrally THINNED (every Nth partial kept, so it is airy and sparse, not a solid wash) → high-passed to an airy bed, and DEEPLY sidechained so it surges and recedes with each kick — it breathes rather than sitting sticky; (4) a master TONAL-BALANCE EQ — a low-shelf seats the sub, an upper-mid dip tames harshness, a high-shelf lifts the air (a gentle target TILT). An ENV-FOLLOWER on the kick sidechain-ducks all three musical layers so everything pumps together. Each layer sits on its OWN gated/leveled VCA, so it introduces and cuts cleanly. Drop it, press play. Every stage is a knob: TUNE the sub, dial the GROWL (band-pass Freq/Q, Drive), the ATMOSPHERE (reverb Decay, spectral Thin factor, the air Level + its duck depth), the BALANCE (master EQ), the pump depth on each Attenuverter.
